Introduction about Portland State University (PSU)
 
 
  Portland State University (referred to as PSU) is a public university located at Portland and belonging to university training system of Oregon State, USA. PSU was officially named in 1969. PSU was approved by the Committee of colleges and universities in the Northwest of American.
  At the moment, the university is training bachelors, masters and PhDs. Until the autumn semester of 2006, the number of trained university students was 18 012 (of 65 810 university students of the whole Oregon state) and that of postgraduate students was 6 272 (of 15 078 postgraduate students of the whole Oregon state).
  PSU has 7 main campuses as below:

  The training programs of university and postgraduate are diversified: postgraduate programs in many areas and PhD programs in 13 areas, of which there are Computing Science and Computing Engineering.
  Now PSU is the largest university in the university education system of Oregon State and is developing quickly. PSU has the following evaluations and rankings:
  PSU is ranked in "Best in the West" and is a "College With a Conscience" by Princeton Review.
  PSU is evaluated as one of 25 universities "Saviors of Our Cities" by New England Board of Higher Education (NEBHE).
  The training programs of PSU are ranked in American training institutes by U.S. News and World Report (USNWR).

Overview of Maseeh College of Engineering and Computing Science and Computing Science faculty of PSU
  Maseeh (Maseeh College of Engineering and Computing Science) was established 45 years ago and developed along with high-tech engineering of Oregon state. Maseeh is a big supplier of human resources who take important positions in companies such as Intel Group and Tektronix, Inc.
  The invested research laboratories of Maseeh train students in order to meet the needs of the market about technology and engineering. Maseeh always appeal to partners's investment to improve facilities and means for research and education such as the construction of a new technological building which is a part of the Center of Technology, Science and Engineering at the Northwest.

   Below are branches and level of training of Maseeh:
  B.S.—Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering
   M.S.—Civil and Environmental Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Engineering Management, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering
   M.Eng.—Civil and Environmental Engineering, Civil and Environmental Engineering Management, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Engineering and Technology Management (Option in Technology Management, Option in Project Management), Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering.
   M.S.E.—Master of Software Engineering
   Ph.D.—Civil and Environmental Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering
   Ph.D.—Participating college in Systems Science Doctoral Program
   Ph.D.—Participating college in Environmental Sciences and Resources Doctoral Program

  Therefore, Maseeh has training programs for bachelors of Computing Science of USA and has cooperation training of 3 levels: bachelor, master and PhD of Computing. Training programs are taught by Department of Computer Science. Besides that, training program for bachelors of Computing Science of PSU was approved by Committee of Approval of USA, CAC/ABET (Computing Accreditation Commission/ Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology).
